In seeking to replenish water reserves for the Lair, the Thunderkittens are assigned to dig a
well. While Panthro, Cheetara and Ben-Gali go to rescue another ship of survivors, and Lion-O and
Snarfer set up an early warning device, the kittens efforts pay off in hitting an underground lake.
However, they can't contain the amount of water being released and the area becomes dangerously
flooded. The rough waters begin to pick away at the Lair in the same valley area, where Snarf is
the only occupant. The kittens are seemingly offered help by a mysterious creature called Frogman,
however, he binds them and takes them to the Churning Rocks to be crushed.
Elsewhere, Lion-O is alerted by Jaga that the kittens have unleashed the ancient Mutant, once sealed
in the lake by Jaga himself. The leo cat races to rescue them but the vengeful Frogman attempts to
be rid of him as well. Panthro, Cheetara and Ben-Gali come to his and the kittens' aid.
The Thundercats then race to defeat Frogman, who has already made his way to the Lair. With the help
of Jagara, Lion-O directs the Eye of ThunDERa at a sea spire and with it catches Frogman on the
Lair, sucks up the flood waters, puts them back into the underground lake and seals the opening. The
Thundercats repair the Lair and help Snarf to clean up.
"Fate is a generous mistress. No sooner am I free, she gives me the opportunity to avenge
myself on the accursed Thundercats!" - Frogman
"So long, Thundercats! Your ancestors imprisoned me in that watery jail for all eternity.
But it seems I have the last laugh." - Frogman
"Quite resourceful, those little pond scummers!" - Frogman in regards to the Kittens' watery escape.
"Frogman! Friend to one and all!" - Frogman to Kat's query as to who he is.
"You mean they didn't mention me? We were such pals when we were children. We went to all the hops!" - Frogman
"Had my fun? My dear, the fun has only just begun!" - Frogman
"Welcome to Churning Canyon: my favorite amusement park!" - Frogman
