Thundercats, Ho! The Movie
Part Four

By Leonard Starr

The sun rises over the Black Pyramid and Lion-O is free from the wrappings. After reassessing his strategy, Lion-O races off to rejoin his friends. At the base of Hook Mountain, Panthro becomes conscious under an overturned ThunderTank. The situations becomes more deadly to Panthro due to a fire that may reach the fuel tank. But not far away, Cheetara alerts Tygra to their friend's position and they are soon at Panthro's side putting the fire out and working together, along with Snowman, in freeing the big cat. Seeing that Panthro is okay to continue, the Thundercats head out to Fire Rock Mountain.

Meanwhile, Monkian finally gets the Fist Pounder in place along the only road to the mountain to make sure Panthro cannot pass. Also, Mumm-Ra contacts Vultureman and Ratar-O to assist Slithe and Jackalman with guarding Lynx-O, Pumyra and Ben-Gali.

Ratar-O decides to take the direct approach, which takes the RatStar over Tuskan country. The Tuskas defend their territory, damaging the Mutant ship enough that it crashes, and Snarf falls out of the ship. After Vultureman gets the ship fixed, the Mutants take without their captive. Turmagar finds a still bound Snarf and frees him. But before Snarf can explain what's going on, they spy the Berserkers' camp and overhear their plan to re-capture the ThunDERians for a ransom. Snarf and Turmagar ride the Gomplin out to the Berserkers' ship to set up a line to tow it out to sea. While Snarf is on the deck typing the line to the ship and bringing up the anchor, he hears Berbils in the holding cell below and frees them. Snarf directs the two Berbil friends of Lynx-O, Ben-Gali and Pumyra to take a life boat to shore and hid. With the Berbils escaping, Snarf rejoins Turmagar on the Gomplin, and they start to tow the pirate ship away. The Berserkers quickly pursue them.

At Fire Rock Mountain, the ThunDERians trick the Mutants into opening their cell door and they escape. Later, Mumm-Ra calls forth Hachiman and deceives the Samurai into once again targeting Lion-O for battle. Hachiman confronts Lion-O on the bridge over the Thundranium pits of Fire Rock Mountain. However Lion-O falls off after saving Hachiman.
